Attendance

Success at Pomona High Starts with Showing Up

At Pomona High School, attendance isn’t just about being present — it’s about showing up for your future, your education, and yourself. Every day you walk through our doors, you’re stepping into a space filled with opportunity — to learn, to grow, and to shape the path ahead.

Consistent attendance is the foundation for success. Each class, every lesson, and all the moments with your teachers and classmates build the knowledge and skills you’ll carry into your future. By showing up and staying engaged, you’re investing in yourself and building a future full of possibility.

Remember, when you miss a day of school, you miss more than just assignments — you miss out on valuable learning, connections, and progress toward your goals. Your education is a powerful tool, and it deserves your full commitment.

Let’s make every day count at Pomona High School. Show up, stay engaged, and embrace the opportunities each school day brings. Your education is the key to unlocking your potential. Attend today, achieve tomorrow, and take charge of your future.

Student Pick-Up Procedures

At Pomona High School, student safety is our top priority. To ensure the well-being of every student, all student pick-ups must be done in person. The individual picking up a student must be listed on the approved contact list and have verified permission to sign the student out of school.

Proper identification is required to confirm the identity of the person picking up the student. This process is a vital part of maintaining a safe and secure campus. By following these protocols, we are taking important steps to protect our students and uphold a secure learning environment.

We appreciate your cooperation in following these procedures. By working together, we help create a campus where all students feel supported, protected, and set up for success.

Thank you for helping us keep Pomona High School a safe place for all.
