Role of the High School Counselor

The Pomona High School Counselors implement the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Mindsets and Behaviors in a comprehensive school counseling program. Through data-driven and evidence-based targeted interventions, the School Counselors strive for all students to gain the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed for academic success, college and career readiness, and social/emotional development.
